Privacy policy
This page explains how we handle the personal data you send us through the inquiry form of Domeček Jizerky. All processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.
Data controller
The controller is Mgr. Dominika Balatková, company ID 11752009, registered at Kašparovo náměstí 2254/4, Libeň, 180 00 Prague 8, Czechia. For anything related to personal data please write to the contact e-mail below. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to do so.
What data we process
Your name, e-mail address, phone number if you provide one, the requested dates, the number of adults and children and the text of your message. Optional fields are entirely up to you. We never collect payment card data.
Purpose and legal basis
We process the data to answer your inquiry, agree on dates and conditions and arrange the stay. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other questions our legitimate interest in handling correspondence under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Records of completed stays are kept to comply with legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
How long we keep the data
Inquiries that did not lead to a booking are deleted no later than 3 years after the last communication. Data related to a completed stay is kept for the period required by accounting and tax law, usually 10 years. After that we delete it.
Who receives the data
We never sell your data. It may be accessed only by the technical providers we use to run the website and send e-mails – our hosting provider and our e-mail delivery provider – acting as processors strictly on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
Transfers outside the European Union
Data is processed primarily within the European Union. If any provider processes data outside the EU, it happens under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another appropriate safeguard under Chapter V GDPR.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics tools that would profile visitors. There is therefore no consent banner to deal with.
Security
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only the property owner has access to the inquiries. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss or misuse of data.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, to rectification or erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where you gave consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Simply write to our contact e-mail; we will respond within one month at the latest.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
